Neil McNab is one of the Worlds leading Backcountry Snowboard and Splitboard Guides with over 25 years experience as a Professional Freeride Snowboarder, Snowboard Teacher/Trainer and High Mountain Guide and is one of the only Professional Snowboarders to hold both the International (IFMGA/UIAGM) ‘High Mountain Guides’ and International (ISIA/ISTD) ‘Ski and Snowboard Teaching’ diplomas that qualify him to teach and guide in the high mountains anywhere in the World.
In 1995 Neil established ‘McNab Snowboarding’, one of the first companies to run ‘Specialist Snowboard Courses’, through which today he offers a unique and exciting program of ‘Freeride Technique Clinics’, ‘Backcountry Freeride & Splitboard courses, Tours and Expeditions’ both in and around Chamonix and all over the World.

Instructor or Guide, is there a difference and which do you need? A Snowboard Instructor is qualified to teach all aspects of Snowboarding technique from beginner to expert. A High Mountain Guide is qualified to Guide you beyond the boundaries of the Patrolled Ski area out into the Backcountry of the High Mountains.
