The BC Splitboard Intro course is a NEW course for 2012.
Following on from the introduction of last years highly popular 'BC Freeride Splitboard course' the 'BC Splitboard Intro course' is designed around out regular classic 'BC Intro course' but introduces the use of the Splitboard as apposed to traditional Snowshoe for Backcountry access.
Proudly sponsored by 'JONES SNOWBOARDS' this NEW Splitboard course introduces you to the JONES 'SOLUTION' Splitboard and introduces you to some of the amazing possibilities that modern day Splitboarding offers over conventional Snowshoe touring.
In recent years Splitboarding has come along way. New board technology and a whole new binding interface has suddenly brought Splitboarding into the modern era and has openned the doors to a whole new vision of what is now possible on a Snowboard within the Backcountry arena.
Following in the skinning tracks of the likes of Big Mountain rider 'Jeremy Jones' and his 'Deeper' project this NEW course brings you the 'Solution' and guides you out into the world of the serious Backcountry Freerider teaching you how to
hike and climb in safety through some of Chamonix's wildest landscapes
With the emphasis, as always on mountain safety, this NEW course will also help you increase your awareness for the high mountains and develop your ability and confidence to tour, climb and ride amongst the high peaks.
