Title: New course update and other news!

Crazy storms all day in Chamonix today and the mid summer snow line has dropped to around 3000m, a radical change after 32C the past few days!
I've just made an update to the course calendar adding a new Splitboard Touring course for the week 26th to the 30th March as the other 2 Touring courses are now provisionally full.
Bookings have been a bit crazy so far and we now have bookings for most courses and waiting lists already on certain ones!
I was away in the Dolomites working on a Cycling trip last week with GPM10. There's some great riding over there, steep and twisty cols made famous by the Giro d'Italia and the number of cyclists was staggering with over a thousand Cyclists riding up the Col Podoi alone!
It's been great to get out riding my bike so much this past Month and my legs are feeling super strong but the mountains are calling me and I'll start Guiding again next week and have quite a few Mont Blancs and a Matterhorn to do during the rest of July and through August. I've left some training days for the bike in the schedule but I've a busy and very active period coming up for sure.
I just received a bunch of the new 3+ transceivers from Ortovox in preparation for next winter. I was very impressed with mine last season and so have decided to use this model over the S1 which we were using the last 2 seasons. For me the 3+ is just so simple to use, it is excellent for both single and multiple searches and has a smart antenna so as to always transmit and receive the strongest signal which ever way up it is held or buried.
A very good bit of kit so if you're looking for a transceiver for next winter check it out!
I've also been working with Billabong on designing a new Advanced range of outerwear based upon a shell and layering system suitable for the type of high mountain freeriding that I specialise in so watch this space for updates on this too!
